Calgary Street Fashion (#179 - #190)

This look can be dressy or casual - great for work when paired with a blazer or jacket as well as a slightly longer pencil skirt. The floral top adds colour to the outfit and the belt is a great accessory. This outfit is chic and well put together.

It's hard to find great basic dresses without looking like plain jane. Colour is the answer! The detailed footwear really adds to the outfit and jewelry would be great to make it really pop.

Same as the purple dress - great colour! She's rocking this dress!

This outfit is light and fresh. The ruffles on the blouse and the pleats on the skirt make you want to take a second look. Great for a night out with the girls or for work in a dressier environment.

This casual look screams comfort and style. Great for a day out and about as easy to put together. A cute black jumper a chambray boyfriend shirt with a braided belt to accessorize; you can't go wrong.

Feeling romantic? Pairing neutrals with bold prints and patterns adds romantic emphasis.

This look is simple and cute. Leggings can be more comfortable and versatile and when layered with different colours or pattern and different length tops or dresses you can create several different looks.

Going GREEN! Not everyone can pull off green but if you have the right complexion like this girl then you can make it work. Adding a belt not only emphasizes the waist, but completes the dress as a whole.

Dare to stand out! This dress has all the right components of FUN colour and pattern.

The fabrics in the dress are beautiful and the details draw you in. This dress is great for the summer with sandals or in the fall with tights and boots.

Leather and sun are not a good idea, but for all you girls who love your leather jackets and don’t want to give them up in the summer, pair them with a colourful light knit or woven dress. This way you’re not making any sacrifices and look and feel cool under the hot summer sun.

Re-inventing Your Wardrobe! (#171 - #178)

Add a little jacket or cardigan, and you've got a more appropriate look for the office, and something to fend off the A/C!
(Top: Zara; Skirt: H&M)

This look is cute for a night out, but add a black or grey blazer and it's great for work too!
(Lace Tank: Mink Pink; Vest: Schwiing; Skirt: Talula)

This dress from Bebe with its interesting detail and bright, solid colour could be accessorized with a long jacket, layers of jewellery or worn on its own with a great pair of pumps!

This ivory skirt is cute worn up higher, at the waist, with a pretty top tucked in. The black waist band adds definition, like a built-in belt. This top is sleeveless so with a little cardigan, again it's more work appropriate.

A basic blouse is something you should always have in your wardrobe, in solid colours or pinstripe. Add a vest and a belt and you've accessorized it one way. Tuck it in or leave it out...whatever you like. A basic blouse like this also looks professional with a blazer or cardigan, or even layered under a sleeveless dress.
(Blouse: Mexx; Skirt: Banana Republic; Vest: Schwiing)

A more flowy blouse, or a boyfriend shirt, can be dressed up or down. Here it's more dressed down with a denim skirt, and accessorized with a bit of bling/detail for a little style & edginess.
(Blouse: Lovely Girl; Skirt: Guess; Belt: Michael Kors)

This beautiful pattern dress by Evan Picone can definitley be worn on its own, but looks great with a belt and a white jacket as well!

If you're tired of skirts and dresses, opt for shorts! They can easily be dressed up and look hot! Add tights or leggings if you don't want to show this much leg.
(Silk Top: French Connection; Jersey Jacket: Lovely Girl; Shorts: H&M)
