HOT Looks with a Splash of Colour &/Or Pattern! (#130-#133): May 9-12, 2011

Wear a shirt dress in a bit of a different way - as a layer piece over a more simple dress. Belt it and add a fun scarf, like this hand-woven, one-of-a-kind plaid scarf!

We loved these pinstripe capri pants with the button detail, which could be worn with almost anything. We chose a bright fuschia tee and a black jersey knit shrug. The feather necklace adds a bit of chic style and is one-of-a-kind as well!

This blue bustier is super hot, and what better to with than a leather skirt! We added a rock n' roll chain belt and softened it with pattern scarf.

This little vest with the stripe detail looks chic with polkadots! We added a simple, feminine top underneath and sequin/tulle fingerless gloves to give the look a bit of an edge.

Urban Weekend Vacation (#122 - #129): May 1-8, 2011

This gorgeous cotton jade green dress from Anthropologie is a perfect summer basic to dress up or down, and accessorize to your heart's content! Perfect for dinner out.

This tan shirt dress can be worn with any colour so why not add a colourful scarf for a little summer pizazz! Cruise the markets and shop in this number!

A high waist paper bag short with a "socialite" tank is perfect for strolling a beach boulevard, shopping or drinks on a patio with friends!

A sheery, lightweight blouse over a black bandeau and leather skirt is super hot for going out! And some chain jewellery for a simple accessory.

This beaded/appliqued tank doesn't need accessorizing but the chain belt and cotton bolero jacket give it a bit of an edge. Wear with capri pants, shorts or jeans for hanging out in the city sightseeing, dining or shopping!

This black and white pattern tunic can easily be worn with tights or leggings, or even on its own if you're daring. But the shorts give it a more casual daytime look. Add colour (red always looks hot) with a piece of jewellery!

This hot little dress from Bebe is pretty on its own as well, but add a belt and a necklace and you have a different look for going out. Wear alone with a cardigan and boots during the day.

A casual, distressed boyfriend jean is sexy with a sequin or metallic tank. Add another layer and you can wear those sequins every day in a casual way. We added this one-of-a-kind feather and metal necklace, but no jewellery and a pretty clutch would be fun too!

A Closet Collage of Style & Colour! (#114 - #121): April 23-30, 2011

Not quite warm enough to wear shorts yet? Layer up with a fun blazer and tights! Like these high waist shorts with the stripe Nanette Lepore jacket. Pretty and more Spring appropriate!

This cute strapless dress from French Connection (exposed zipper in back) would go with just about anything! We paired a fun t-shirt with colour and pleated sleeves underneath, added a belt and a complimentary necklace.

This is a little more conservative rock n' roll, but we loved the red skinny jeans and the sparkly metallic tunic top. Accessorize with whatever is in your closet - scarves, belts, jewellery, hats.
 

So many prints and colours - pick any you like and add even more colour with a jacket or cardigan that complements! We cinched this dress with a purple belt and

nixxed the jewellery this time.

This is a great stretch jersey knit skirt, again with a lot of colour! But so easy to just put on with a tank top and flip flops for a casual day at the park or shopping.

This is actually a new dress (sizes XS-L) from Schwiing. It's a lightweight cotton with some stretch and looks so good on! The back criss crosses and the colour pops! Other styles from Schwiing available as well.

This vintage floral print and ruffle detail is so pretty! Perfect for a bbq party or a wedding! It comes with a tie belt, but we broke up the pattern a bit with a light brown belt and accessorized with turquoise. Looks great with red or yellow too!
 

This BCBG dress is great on its own, but perfect to wear with a bright coloured leather jacket!
